Walter De Brouwer is the founder and CEO of Scanadu. Founded in 2010 and located at the NASA Ames Research Park, Scanadu is using mobile, sensor and social technology to ensure this is the last generation to know so little about their health. An Internet and technology entrepreneur, futurist, academic and scientist, De Brouwer served as the CEO of One Laptop Per Child Europe, aiming to empower the world’s poorest children through education. Before that, he was the founder of Starlab, which specialized in blue skies, deep future and BANG (Bits, Atoms, Neurons and Genes) research.This is a sample biography.
